Permanent Resident

The Government of Canada has created different programs for skilled candidates. The main requirements, depending on the program, include a profession, work experience, education, language proficiency and age among others.

One of the main programs offered is point based; a score will be assigned based on each requirement. Applicants can be single, married, common-law or families with children.

In order to apply, the applicant will have to meet all requirements of the program selected. After applying, the Government of Canada will rank candidates against each other and invite the highest-ranked applicants to apply for Permanent Resident. The application for Permanent Resident includes background, medical and financial evaluation along with other assessments.

There are also Provincial Nominees Programs. These are specific programs related to a province.  These programs have their own requirements. The process is similar to the one described above. However, being nominated by a province increases the possibility of being high-ranked.

If you are interested in any of these programs, I can provide more information and assess if you meet all requirements.
